Advanced Level - e-Learning AVT Training Course. 12 July 2012 to 20 September 2012: duration 40 hours in total
provides practical skills and training in the application of the Auditory-Verbal Therapy approach. This course is aimed at clinical and educational professionals with pre-existing qualifications, and parents of children with hearing loss who require in-depth knowledge of the Auditory-verbal approach and the application of current hearing technology.
The pre-requisite to enrolment in this course is successful completion of the Intermediate course.

| 2012 e-Learning Extension -AVT Training Course
New for 2012 this 40 hour course provides specialty training for professionals wishing to apply an AVT approach to clincial practice and research in a broader context. Completion of the Advanced course is required prior to taking the Extension course.
Dates 11 October - 13 December 2012.

| 2012 e-Learning Intermediate - AVT Training Course
Intermediate Level - e-Learning AVT Training Course - duration 40 hours in total. Provides baseline qualification, using the Auditory-Verbal approach, for the teaching of listening and spoken language to children with hearing loss.
This course is suited to parents of children with hearing loss, allied health professionals, clinical and educational professionals, Teachers of the Deaf and mainstream teachers and teacher aides.
There is no pre-requisite for this course. Due to popular demand a second course will start on 16 May 2012.

Introduction to the principles of the Auditory-Verbal approach. Including information about listening and spoken language, the function of the ear, hearing aids and cochlear implants, and the role of parents and professionals when working with children with hearing loss.
This course is suitable for professionals and parents wishing to obtain a working knowledge of Auditory-Verbal Therapy and current hearing technology.
There is no pre-requite for this course.
