FUNDRAISING EXECUTIVE

 

Full Time – Based in Auchenflower – base salary plus packaging benefits

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and goal oriented Fundraising Executive to join our current Fundraising Team based in Auchenflower. Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be responsible for achieving profitable income for Hear and Say through a variety of fundraising programs, including the growth of existing, and acquisition of new, corporate partnerships and supporters, bequest program development, grant writing and researching and developing new fundraising initiatives.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Fundraising Team to deliver an integrated corporate business development strategy with a focus on the growth of existing corporate partnerships which align with the strategic plan and result in greater financial independence.
  • Working with corporate partners to drive income through donations, fundraising activities and other programs.
  • Working with corporate partners to drive income through donations, fundraising activities and other programs.
  • Utilising existing partnerships and networks to introduce new corporate supporters to the organisation.
  • Developing and delivering a system for managing the corporate partnership program, including appropriate levels of contact, servicing, stewardship and recognition.
  • Development of the Bequest Program
  • Researching and writing grant applications
  • Identifying new fundraising initiatives
  • Supporting other Fundraising Team members
  • Assisting with other fundraising programs when team members are on leave

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience.
  • Ability to work as part of the team and to assist other team members in busy periods in all areas of fundraising
  • Demonstrated experience in sponsorship and relationship management
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the development and delivering of successful corporate partnership programs which achieve objectives and financial ROI.
  • Demonstrated strong level of negotiation and communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong capability in managing relationships across all stakeholder groups, both externally and internally.
  • Highly organised with strong administration and problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility and able to be hands on when required
  • Strong work ethic
