Call the Brisbane Centre on 07 3870 2221 to arrange a donation by credit card or to arrange a direct debit or periodic pledge. All credits cards accepted.

Periodic Pledge
A regular (monthly or quarterly) pledge by credit card or direct debit is a convenient way of making a donation which saves time and reduces our administration costs so that more of your donation can be directed into providing vital therapy. A tax deductible receipt will be sent to you at the end of the financial year.

In Memoriam
Many of our families have asked friends and family to make a donation to the centre in memory of a loved one. Please contact the Centre as we can provide you with personal donation forms and return envelopes.

Bequest
Leave a gift that lasts a lifetime...the gift to a deaf child of sound and speech!

A bequest in your will is a way to ensure that you leave a legacy for future generations.

To make a bequest to the Hear and Say Centre, include the following wording:
I give, to the Hear and Say Centre, free from all charges the sum of $... (or the whole of my residuary estate) for its charitable purposes thereof, and direct that the receipt of the secretary or other proper officer of the Centre for the time being shall be sufficient discharge to my trustees for such a gift.

We recognise that you may like to keep your intentions private, but if you would like to be included in our special group who remember the Centre in their will, please let us know. We would welcome the opportunity to recognise your kindness in making this gift to future children and would like to thank you personally and invite you to visit us and keep you updated with the Centre's work.

Hear and Say Centre for Deaf Children Foundation
The Hear and Say Centre has established a charitable fund with the Queensland Community Foundation (QCF). The website for QCF is www.qcf.org.au/funds.asp. The Hear and Say Centre for Deaf Children Fund provides funding for child and parent education to help young deaf babies and children to listen, acquire language and speech using auditory-verbal thearapy and new hearing technology like the cochlear implant.

QCF is a public charitable trust, established and managed by the Public Trustee of Queensland to encourage charities to provide for their future funding by establishing a perpetual income through investments.

You can make a donation or bequest to the Hear and Say Centre through the QCF by contacting QCF on 3360 3854. Through this perpetual Foundation, the donation or bequest capital will be preserved with the investment income available to Hear and Say Centre periodically.

Payroll giving
You can arrange to have a specified amount deducted from your pay pre tax which is a simple, tax effective way to support the Centre – just set and forget. You will receive a receipt at the end of the financial year which means that you don’t have to collect receipts for every donation or wait until the end of the year to collect your tax refund. Contact the Centre for more information.

Donations in lieu of gifts
If you’re planning to hold a celebration to mark a special occasion such as birthday, christening or house warming, consider the “Give a Gift that lasts a lifetime” alternative!

Ask your guests to consider making a donation (tax deductible) to the Hear and Say Centre in lieu of buying a gift.

Contact the Centre as we can arrange to have special donation forms printed for your celebration.

Other options to support the Centre

	Story Bridge Adventure Climb Climb for Kids! Looking for an extraordinary gift for someone special that will also help deaf children?  Why not give a Story Bridge Adventure Climb Gift Certificate? When you purchase a Gift Certificate, Story Bridge Adventure Climb will donate 20% of the ticket revenue to Hear and Say Centre but only if you mention the Hear and Say Centre when you call.  Call Story Bridge Adventure Climb on 1300 254 627.
	Karma Currency What goes around comes around.  On the karma currency website you can purchase a charity gift certificate to give as a gift.  The recipient of your gift redeems the certificate at karma currency and nominates the Hear and Say Centre as the recipient of the donation.
	Everyday Hero Compete for Kids! Make a donation, donate a sponsorship to someone who is running, walking or cycling in an event, or nominate yourself as a hero and ask for charity sponsorship for your efforts through your hero page.
